In a strong show of support for the present administration’s achievements and commitment to the even development of Delta State through the MORE Agenda, the foremost Delta Women Political Group, Unique Ladies for Sheriff, has passed a Vote of Confidence on Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.
Led by its National Coordinator and Adviser, Dame Nkem Okwuofu, the group conveyed this resounding endorsement during a courtesy visit to the First Lady of the State, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori. They emphatically declared that there is no vacancy in 2027 and assured their unwavering support for the governor’s programs and policies throughout his tenure.
The delegation also took the opportunity to commend the impactful humanitarian activities of the You Matter Charity Foundation, spearheaded by the Governor’s wife, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori. The women acknowledged the foundation’s far-reaching influence in uplifting the less privileged across Delta State.
During the visit, Deaconess Tobore Oborevwori expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the group’s unwavering support. “This affirmation from Unique Ladies for Sheriff is a testament to the achievements of the MORE Agenda across the state. I firmly believe that this endorsement will further encourage the drive for even development throughout my husband’s administration,” she stated.
The First Lady also expressed gratitude for the commendation of her foundation’s activities and graciously acknowledged the group’s request for her to serve as their Patroness. “With the support of these incredible women, this administration will continue to make Delta State the pride of Nigeria,” she affirmed.
